Democrats are noted for raising taxes and spending wildly on social issues. But even the Speaker of the California Assembly, Democrat Anthony Rendon, had to apply good sense and shelve SB 562 to stop his buddies from bankrupting the State of California with a $400 billion-per-year socialist, statewide, comprehensive, single-payer health-care bill that would include all illegal Mexican aliens if approved and was signed by the Democrat governor. There is not enough money in the whole world to do this.
Everyone in the state would be burdened with a medical system like the Veterans Administration where the civil service would get all of the service and the patients would lay dying in the halls on gurneys. This is why the California associations of nurses union is pushing this bill. They want lifelong security with no responsibility, just as the VA is. This lets the union nurses control the appointed medical politicians with their election contributions.
